READY, STEADY, GO.

The show went out early on Friday evenings as "The weekend starts here!", with the most famous sound of Manfred Mann's 5-4-3-2-1  Artists appeared on different mini-stages, sometimes on studio gantries and stairs, or on the main floor in the case of solo artists, closely surrounded by the audience members. The show was recorded at the Rediffusion'studios in London. Among the artists that appeared were The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, Dusty Springfield and many others, basically the soundtrack to the 60's in the UK.

9 August 1963 – 23 December 1966. 
It was produced by Associated-Rediffusion the weekday ITV contractor for London, called Rediffusion-London post 1964.
The last episode was broadcast on 23 December 1966.
